BOPP Film Overwrap

Propafilm™overwrap BOPP films are ideally suited to high speed overwrap applications.  Their exceptional clarity and sparkle, balanced and controlled shrinkage and outstanding mechanical properties for machine performance and conversion have set the bench mark for overwrap pack wrap quality. 

Films for the Tobacco Industry

We have evolved a comprehensive range of films for the tobacco industry.  These include: shrink tightening film for high speed wrapping of unit packs and cartons, standard films for hard and soft packs, standard and shrink acrylic coated films for naked collation of unit packs as well as specialist films for printable applications.

NatureFlex™

A recent addition to the overwrap range has been biodegradable and compostable NatureFlex™ for carton overwrap or clear collation.

Other Markets

These high quality performance products are now being used in other demanding high speed overwrap markets such as optical media, confectionery, cosmetics and pharmaceutical cartons.

Biaxially Oriented Polypropylene (BOPP) Film Labelling

Our unique bubble film production process and the mechanical properties it imparts to our biaxially oriented polypropylene (BOPP) films, has put us at the top of the global market for filmic pressure sensitive label substrates where we have remained for over fifteen years.

‘No-label Look’

The performance of our Rayoface™, Rayofoil™ and Rayoweb™ brands have helped to transform the labels industry as significant areas have switched from paper to BOPP and enjoyed the marketing potential offered by clear ‘no-label look’ films

Graphic Arts

The Rayoart™ range has been developed utilising labels technology to produce high performance graphic arts films for signs and decals.

Packaging and Industrial applications

Our ability to design and produce high performance coated BOPP packaging and cellulose films means we are the supplier of choice in demanding applications including fresh produce packaging, biscuit and bakery overwrap, confectionery twistwrap, convenience ‘food on the move’ applications, cut-paper wrapping and high-speed flow-wrapping.

Cellulose Films

Cellulose films are produced from renewable, sustainable wood pulp. They offer a range of unique attributes which plastic films are unable to equal and can be supplied in a wide range of brilliant colours.

Our Cellophane™ brand is renowned for its performance in speciality markets including twistwrapped confectionery, “breathable” packaging for baked goods, “live” yeast and cheese products and CelloTherm™ ovenable and microwaveable packaging.

Cellophane™ is also used in technically challenging applications such as adhesive tapes, heat-resistant release liners and for battery separators.

Biodegradable/Compostable and Sustainable Packaging

The NatureFlex™ range is at the forefront of developments in biodegradable/compostable and sustainable packaging.  These films are certified to both EU (EN13432) and US (ASTM D6400) composting norms.

Uniquely, NatureFlex™ films are suitable both for industrial and home composting.

BOPP Films

The BOPP packaging product range offers a broad spectrum of films with properties that match demanding packaging requirements.

Propafilm™FFF family of films have set a new standard in high speed heat seal flow wrap performance and have been successfully used in confectionery, home and personal care, bakery and other food applications.

PropaFresh™anti-mist films offer effective prevention of unsightly misting improving product presentation.  These films offer excellent machine performance (HFFS and VFFS) making them ideal for fresh produce packers.

Propaream™high barrier, fast heat sealable, printable heavy duty films provide excellent product protection which is why many cut paper manufacturers are adopting this film for their premium products.

Propafoil™high brilliance metallised film has a very high barrier to moisture, oxygen and UV visible light.  This film has proven to be popular in the beverage, bakery and confectionery markets to provide added aesthetic appeal.
