Established in 1978 Cotswold Plastics has been recycling plastics for over 27 years, and has grown to be one of the largest, and most diverse plastics recycling companies in the UK.

We specialise in the processing of post consumer and post industrial plastics, and the buying and selling of all plastics to and from the most appropriate world markets.

We have invest heavily in recycling and particularly separation technologies, ultilising our experience of plastics processing and leading edge technologies the management team have been able to create a width of processing capability, and capacity to rival the biggest players in the market - and certainly offer the greatest width of service in the South West.

Since moving to our new 51,000sqft site at Aston Down at the end of 2003 CPR has further invested in people, machinery, premises and its suppliers and customers.

The result of this has seen CPR survive whilst many other recyclers have fallen, it has also seen our turnover increase to over £650,000 pa, our staff to 14 people, our plant and machinery to over £350,000, and our production to over 3,000 tonnes in the last 12 months.

Following these investments in key areas early in 2005 CPR have secured a 3 year recycling agreement with one of the World's largest packaging solutions companies offering them a complete closed loop recycling and redistribution, to their suppliers, solution.

CPR has received further approval of its existing and future plans from Lloyds TSB and the DT I with additional funding of almost £300,000 to strengthen the business' cash flow and ability to invest in other key areas.

All of this should see CPR hit the 8,000 tonnes per year mark in 2005/2006, and take turnover in excess of £1,000,000 pa.
