Willum Plast A/S was founded in 1960 and is based in Skibby, Denmark. Since the foundation of the company, our field of business has been injection moulding. Today the company works with the production of our own child resistant cap series, which consist of child resistant caps for the chemical and technical industry.
Our product range includes our WP CRC-Cap which is a child resistant cap where the child resistance also work after re-closing the container. It is available with bore seal, three different kinds of liner and three sizes of plug. WP SqueezeCap is also a child resistant cap and has a plug which enables easier dosage of the liquid. Our WP TamperCap and WP PTP cap are both fitted with a seal to ensure an unopened container. The WP PharmaCap with tamper seal and available with or without dry capsule is made especially for the pharmaceutical industry.
Child Resistant Caps
WP CRC-Cap is our child resistant cap and the child resistance also works after re-closing the container. It has been tested at the accredited Danish Technological Institute (DTI) in accordance with ISO 8317 for demands on child resistant packaging. Furthermore a drop test based on the UN requirements has been carried out successfully. Our product range includes the following variation of the cap:
Bore seals, Cap Plugs and Induction Liners
Child resistant cap with bore seal is the standard cap of the child resistant cap series. The inner part is cast with a bore seal which ensures a reliable and tight seal. The inner part is available in three different kinds of material: HD, PPC and POM (also called Polyoxymethylene or acetal copolymer)
Child resistant cap with either plastic (see picture), aluminium or induction liner is fitted with a plastic/aluminium/induction liner which can be used with most chemical products. The liner prevents the cap from corroding. 
Child resistant cap with plug is fitted with a plug with an outlet which enables easy dosage of the liquid in the bottle/container. There are two plug choices for the ø28mm cap: the standard with outlet of ø3,5mm for thick/high viscosity liquids or a plug with dosage valve for normal to low viscosity liquids. The dosage valve makes the product almost drip free when turned upside down. Furthermore the plug comes in three different sizes - each indicated by a specific colour, to ensure the perfect fit in our customers' different bottles.
All of our child resistant caps ø28mm are available with Tamper Evident in the fine ribbed design - the tamper Evident is a tamper band that indicates whether the bottle or container has been opened or tampered with.
Child Resistant Cap with Plug - WP SqueezeCap
WP SqueezeCap is a child resistant cap with a double thread that can be used, among others in the chemical industry, especially for cleaning agents. The cap has a plug which - in addition to ensuring tight seal - enables easier dosage of the liquid in the bottle or container. The child resistance functions as an interaction between the cap and the bottle. The child resistance works also after re-closing the container.
Tamper Evident Seals - WP TamperCap and WP PTP-Cap.
WP TamperCap and WP PTP-Cap are fitted with a tamper band indicating if the bottle or container has been opened or tampered with. The caps are produced for use in the chemical and technical industries as well as the food industry. Once the TamperCap is opened the seal from this cap remains on the bottle to avoid the plastic ring ending up somewhere unintended. Moreover, the cap is designed to go smoothly through our customer´s filling station processes.
What makes the PTP-Cap unique is the way in which the cap´s seal breaks. The tamper band stays on the cap. Apart from this the band breaks in such a manner that it does not become a long strip which can make subsequently handling difficult. Both caps have exceptionally sealing abilities and both are fitted with a reliable thread which makes it easy to the consumer to reseal the container. All raw materials are approved for contact with food products.
Pharmaceutical Caps with Optional Desiccant Capsules
WP PharmaCaps are developed especially for the pharmaceutical industry. This cap has a seal which is easy to break and which indicates whether the cap has been opened. The triple thread makes it quick and easy to screw the cap on and off. Also, after the container has been opened, the cap will be stable, seal tight and prevent moisture from penetrating into the container. The tightness of the screw lid as well as the aqueous vapour permeability has been tested by the Danish Technological Institute in accordance with USP XXIII <671>. The cap is available with or without desiccant capsule.
