Loadhog Limited is an award winning company, built on a commitment to provide solution driven reusable packaging products.

At the core of this commitment is Loadhog’s state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities based in Sheffield and a continual focus on and investment in ‘ideas and innovation’.

Since starting production of the Loadhog Lid in 2004, Loadhog has developed and brought to market a number of additional products, all unique and innovative, all patented and all in response to specific customer and market driven requirements.  These include:

1)    Self-securing reusable pallet lids (UK, Euro & Half Euro sizes) - The Loadhog Lid:  Allows a load to be fully secured to a pallet/dolly without the need for stretch wrap/banding materials or equipment.

2)    The revolutionary new Loadhog “Pally” dolly - an integrated unit combining the benefits of both a pallet and a wheeled dolly.

3)    Palletised glass containment system - The SmartStak:  A packaging system for "tall-packs" of glass bottles

Returnable Packaging Solutions

At Loadhog, not only do we create environmentally focused innovations but we aim to produce them with the same awareness - it's basically common sense.  We use solar panels, river water heat exchangers, rain water collection systems and recycle all used, unwanted or scrap parts from all our products.  Both Loadhog and our wider group company Gripple use returnable packaging between us and our suppliers.  An example of the returnable packaging in use: PMS Diecastings pack the zinc diecastings for Gripple and Loadhog products into 300x400mm plastic trays and load these onto Pally's - secured by a Half-Euro size Loadhog Lid.  It saves PMS space in their operation, has eliminated pump trucks, labour time in moving product around and all securing materials of wrap and banding.  Once in our operations, the heavy product can be simply wheeled off the trailers and direct to store/machine depending on order volumes - no waste, no disposal, no moving equipment.  Our returnable packaging solutions are thoroughly tested in house.

Self-Securing Reusable Pallet Lids (UK, Euro & Half Euro Sizes)

The Loadhog Lid:  Allows a load to be fully secured to a pallet/dolly without the need for stretch wrap/banding materials or equipment:  Secured in less than 15 seconds, ZERO material costs or securing equipment, ZERO waste, reusable, potential for increased trailer fill through secure double stacking, improved stability & product security (with tamper proof ratchets) and RFID enabled.

Integrated Pallet and a Wheeled Dolly: The New Loadhog “Pally” Dolly

An integrated unit combining the benefits of both a pallet and a wheeled dolly:  A stable half euro (800x600mm) pallet capable of transforming 500kg of product to become a fully mobile wheeled dolly unit immediately with one foot press (and visa versa) eliminating the need for any additional equipment like forklift/pump trucks when moving product around the supply chain, to individual locations or store/homes

Palletised Glass Containment Packaging System

The SmartStak:  A packaging system for "tall-packs" of glass bottles to secure the loads without any changes to existing production lines, yet allowing the complete elimination of any pallet collapses, broken glass, all shrink wrap bags, all horizontal banding AND it allows the glass to be moved up to 11 layers high per pallet with a perfect record of safety to date.
