Kryotrans enables global and local solutions to improve the transportation of temperature-sensitive medical, biotech and pharmaceutical products and samples by providing a secure, controlled and monitored environment, providing an unbroken cool chain with integral high integrity audit trails.

Kryotrans provides a cost-effective range of high quality roto-moulded polyethylene/polyurethane re-usable containers that are temperature controlled and monitored.

An on-board data logger is incorporated into the container and continuously records internal [payload] and external temperatures and access. Other parameters such as vibration, shock and humidity can be logged if required.

The benefits of using the Kryotrans system are:

• Ensures compliance with licence conditions whilst in transit.
• Optimum efficacy and safety through the product being maintained within the prescribed temperature range.
• The ability to replenish the coolant without having access to the product being transported. Very useful if container gets delayed in transit.
• Ability to use wide range of coolants including dry ice, eutectic plates, phase change materials and wet ice.
• Cost savings as a result of reduced wastage of product
• Improved environmental performance through not having to dispose of non-reusable polystyrene/cardboard containers.

All this at approximately the same cost per journey as conventional low-tech, un-audited packaging.
