Seeking to meet continued customer demand for print accuracy, AccuWeb has developed a new cantilevered positive displacement web guide designed specifically for retrofitting Mark Andy 17.75 cm label presses (Models 810, 820, 830).
The new drop-in system incorporates an AccuWeb Micro 1000® Controller and specially designed compensated edge detector. The new web guide system is available in either ultrasonic or infrared configurations.
Dynamic compensation, an exclusive AccuWeb technology, eliminates guide point drift due to process contaminants like dust or dirt, environmental factors like temperature or humidity and passline variations caused by web movement or flutter.
AccuWeb compensated edge detectors use a separate reference beam that recalibrates every four milliseconds, assuring a true web path while eliminating the need for operator adjustments.
