Waste Compactors

Riverside Waste Machinery Ltd

Static Compactors consist of a compaction unit and an enclosed skip. The waste is inserted into the loading area of the unit either by hand or by a hydraulic bin lifting system, dock loading facility, air feed system, conveyor or other ancillary equipment which can be tailored to meet the customer's direct needs.

Once full the compaction container is removed from the unit and taken away by the waste contractor who empties the contents of the container. An empty container can immediately be attached to the unit, ensuring that downtime is minimised.

The use of such machinery helps to improve site hygiene and minimises the risks associated with storing large amounts of waste on site, such as fire and vermin. Riverside Waste Machinery offers an extensive range of static compactors to suit every application. Its technical team is pleased to advise on the most suitable compactor for your product.

Portable Compactors are self-contained units. The waste is inserted into the loading area by the same methods as used for the static compactors. When a portable compactor needs to be emptied the waste contractor takes the entire machine away to a refuse disposal site for emptying.

The major advantage of a portable compactor is its ability to contain liquid wastes without leakage, making it particularly suitable for food and pharmaceutical wastes. Using a portable compactor can also improve levels of site hygiene and minimise unpleasant odours and vermin.

Riverside Waste Machinery offers a selection of portable compactors, and its technical team is able provide comprehensive advice on the most suitable machine for your product.
