An extra marketing tool
To replace single colour trays, printed films for thermoforming have been developed. These create an attractive background for a range of possible applications. Using this technique, ANL Plastics creates a different style of product presentation and an extra tool for promotional offers. The plastic tray adds to the presentation of the product and offers new options for artwork design.
For instance, wouldn't you like children's biscuits on a background of cartoon figures, Christmas presents in a tinsel decorated tray, a colourful tray with flower print to display chocolates for Mother's day etc. The possibilities are almost endless.
The technical challenge
One major project ANL Plastics has successfully produced in this area is a Viva Pinata limited edition game pack for Microsoft. This was quite a challenge for production, as the embossing had to fit the printed design on the film very closely. The result is a masterpiece in the field of thermoforming.
There is no doubt, this project has opened doors for ANL Plastics to continue down this high tech road and offer further unique and eye-catching designs for the future.
