The Concept
Stretch film should always be stretched to the limits of its elasticity before wrapping a pallet. Otherwise the film will stretch and become loose as the goods on the pallet move about.
It is difficult to stretch the film consistently while wrapping. With pre-stretched MicroWrap® you get a consistent stretch, optimising the elasticity of the film. The film just wants to 'shrink' and tighten on the load, giving improved load stability. When stretching film it will 'neck down' and become thinner - this has already been done on the pre-stretched material.
