It is the first time that Calmar has received the award, which is given annually to a Scotts supplier based on outstanding quality, service, cost reduction and innovation.

Calmar's cost-saving and innovation ideas come from a variety of areas, including logistics, shipments, re-design, component review and reductions in raw material use. For more than six years, Calmar has supplied Scotts with liquid-dispensing systems used in herbicide, pesticide and fertilizer products; Calmar is currently Scotts' largest vendor of packaging products worldwide, supplying trigger sprayers and custom dispensing systems.
In 2005, Calmar supplied 100 percent of Scott's trigger sprayers and proprietary dispensing systems (including the very successful Pull N Spray™ system) for Scotts' Miracle-Gro®, Ortho® and Roundup® products. Products for Scotts are manufactured at Calmar's plants in Winfield, Kansas; Grandview, Missouri; Hemer, Germany; and China.
