With our move to the new production hall we have invested heavily in the printing group of the packaging division. Here we want to tell you about our new acquisitions.
The Novoflex II is a high-tech flexoprint printing machine which has new features and advantages over its predecessor, the Novoflex I. It is equipped with the „Turboclean System", i.e. the printing groups of the printing machine are cleaned ca. 60% faster than a conventional system without being touched by the machine personnel. The time cycle for a job has thus been reduced again significantly. This results in more capacity and less effort.
Furthermore, the Novoflex II is equipped with a control terminal which no longer requires a separate keyboard: the monitor screen itself is used to enter data, etc. The magic formula is called „Touchscreen“.

We are now also in a position to print up to 1270 mm in width for the highest quality segment (Novoflex I only up to 1000 mm). The attentive reader of my articles in the house magazine "mitenand" will have noticed that the effort to print 8 colours has become lower and lower in recent times. It is therefore becoming increasingly important to keep a sharp eye on the environment of a printing machine. Optimal procedure in the preparatory zone, block making, block mounting, preparation of the pumps, vats and doctor blades (steel knives), preparation of the printing lamination film and not least the inks.
All these components must be ready in the right quantity and quality at the right time at the right machine. So you can see that not only a high-tech printing machine is required but the environment is also highly important and must be adequate.

Apart from the Novoflex II we have at the same time commissioned a dosing system, whose advantages are already of benefit to us. It mixes the required inks from a qualitative and quantitative point of view exactly according to the needs of the customer and the printing machine. The main advantage of this system is that the inks are consumed in circulation. This means that the excess inks are continuously dosed in and hence actually consumed, not returned to the ink store as was the practice until recently.
Thanks to this circulation system, we will have to purchase fewer inks in future and the quantity of residual inks will be enormously reduced. The set-up time on a printing machine will also be considerably shortened since mixing is done in the preparatory zone in the dosing system and not at the printing machine.
With our two new installations we have again made a great, important step forward so we will be able to act and react vigorously on the market in future at all times.
