The Magic Star range of dispensers from RPC Bramlage-Wiko continues to ensure the controlled dosing and hygienic application of creams, gels and lotions for a variety of applications.
Designed for maximum versatility, the Magic Star can handle products of many different viscosities, making it ideal for the personal care, cosmetic and pharmaceutical markets.
The dispenser is already being used by a number of top brands. In each case it has been personalised to specific product and branding requirements, thanks to the availability of a wide choice of options and specifications.
These include a range of container sizes from 50ml to 200ml and the choice of different materials, including PP and PET, to provide the best barrier properties for each product. An oval design is available as an option and a selection of dispensing heads, both standard and custom-designed, can also be specified.
In addition, extensive decoration options, such as silkscreen, tampo and offset printing, hot stamping, labelling and sleeving, ensure each pack can be individualised to meet particular brand image and marketing objectives.

Dispensing Made Easy – And Attractive
The practical and aesthetic benefits of RPC Bramlage-Wiko’s top-selling CD-Exclusive and CD-Standard dispenser ranges has ensured their continuing popularity for a wide range of products for many top-name companies.
The patented CD range was developed particularly for viscous creams and gels, providing a reliable, easy to use and controlled dispensing system to enable consumers to obtain the exact amount of product required each time.
Each dispenser in the range is made up of a container and a dispensing headpiece with overcap. Pressure on the dispenser head closes the entrance to the container and opens an outlet valve to enable product to escape through the dispenser nozzle.
When the dispensing process is complete, the head returns to its starter position. This creates low pressure within the chamber, causing the outlet valve to close and the inlet valve from the container to open, drawing more product into the chamber in readiness for the next dispense.
At the same time, the low pressure causes a suction effect to draw product back from the dispenser nozzle, thus avoiding drips. There is also a self-sealing nozzle option.
The CD dispensers can be tailored each time to meet a customer’s precise requirements. They may be injection moulded in a choice of materials, including PP, PET and SAN, and specified in a range of colours, which can be further enhanced with special finishes such as frosted, metallised or shiny effects. A wide selection of decoration options is also available, including silk screen printing, hot foil stamping or sleeving, to ensure each product is given a totally individual look to create effective brand image and identity on-shelf.
The availability of top or bottom filling options, depending on the product, further increases the flexibility of this versatile range.
Breathing Easy With Formatec Inhalers
Expertise in design and innovation of function continue to make RPC Formatec’s range of inhalation systems the choice of the pharmaceutical industry.
The site has manufactured high quality injection moulded inhaler components for over thirty years and currently produces approximately 100 million units per year for customers worldwide.
The Formatec range includes inhaler mouthpieces in varying designs and function to suit Metered Dose Inhaler (MDI) applications, for example in asthma or allergy care. Airless dispenser systems for crème applications are also available.
All inhaler products are manufactured using high cavity moulds running on state-of-the-art injection moulding machines and high performance automatic assembly units. Production takes place under the strictest assembly conditions to meet the required hygiene standards of the medical industry.
Depending on customer requirements, the diameter of the spray head aperture can be specified between 0.2 and 0.6 mm. RPC Formatec’s commitment to excellence means that all products are manufactured within an allowable tolerance of ± 0.02 mm. All mouthpieces are compatible with both CFC and CFC-free products.
Other options for customising inhalers include manufacturing in specified colours to match branding requirements. Decoration can be provided using screen-printing, hot stamping processes or laser decoration.
