The PIRAMYD® pastry box is an exceptional pack consisting of a cardboard base and a transparent anti fog treated PET lid.
The re closable Omega fastening and patented design are by Guy Vanhoutte. A wide range of standard dimensions and prints is already available. Tailor made solutions are possible as well. The cardboard base can be printed with any personalized design, up to four colours. No wild idea is too crazy for the PIRAMYDŽ concept. Zebra, chocolate curls, tasty icing and whipped cream can all be printed.
A mechanic set up system for industrial bakeries is being developed.
ANL Plastics introduces a new branch of PIRAMYDŽ pastry packaging with PET inlay trays. These were especially developed to wrap two small cakes in a box. Depending on the shape of the tartlets, three kinds of trays are available: either with 2 round, 2 square or 2 rectangular cavities.
PIRAMYDŽ pack - a window on quality
The PIRAMYDŽ box unites the best of both worlds, cardboard and plastic. A cardboard base gives the whole a handcrafted feel and enhances the image of the industrial pastry, while it is well visible through the transparent lid. Furthermore, the pastry doesn't disappear in a sea of plastic in the supermarket open fridge. The stylish design leads all attention to the cake and puts the product in a higher range.
The PIRAMYDŽ pastry box is an extra benefit to department stores. Filled boxes can easily be stacked. Department stores move one step closer to the warm atmosphere of traditional bakeries.
These traditional bakeries also welcome the new concept: it enables them to pack a number of cakes in advance. The shop assistants save time during peak traffic hours and have more time available to maintain personal contact with their customers.
Thinking ahead - save the planet
To complete the assets of the PIRAMYDŽ box, ANL Plastics is also sensible to environmental demands. The cardboard base can be recycled with the rest of the consumers' paper waste and can be easily separated from the lid. The lid itself goes into the recycling flow of plastics. Also bio degradable materials are being considered.
PIRAMYDŽ in the world - many will follow!
Slowly but surely the PIRAMYDŽ pastry box conquers the world: not only in its native country Belgium it has started its way up. In Spain an important supermarket chain, El Corte Ingles packs its pastry in the PIRAMYDŽ boxes. The range has also been introduced to the French supermarket chains.
The PIRAMYDŽ concept has also attracted attention in other sectors of industry, as the design can be turned into a gift pack for all sorts of items. It guarantees optimal visibility of the product. Be different! Use PIRAMYDŽ
