The lightly carbonated refreshment is offered in the aseptic 1,000 ml combiblocPremium carton from SIG Combibloc. Following the product’s success in the Netherlands, Aqua fruitmix is now also available in Germany ? where it is exempted from the mandatory deposit on one-way drinks packaging.
Positioned as a “Premium Refreshment: Water plus Juice”, the fruit drink is available in the following tastes: White Grape & Lemon, Apple & Red Berries, Apple & Peach Light, Apple & Wild Fruit, Orange & Lime, Apple & Peach and Pineapple & Passion Fruit Light.”
The formulation of Aqua fruitmix is patented and thus unique throughout the world,” said Luit Mulder, Marketing & Sales Manager at Refresco Nord/Krings Fruchtsaft GmbH. Since 2000, Krings Fruchtsaft GmbH, a world leading manufacturer of fruit juices and fruit-based drinks, has been a member of Refresco Holding, which is headquartered in the Netherlands. Refresco Nord generated sales of EUR 320 million in 2004. “To launch this unique product, we have chosen combiblocPremium, a high-quality packaging, which is exempted from Germany’s mandatory deposit on drinks packaging due to its ecological benefits,” Luit Mulder added.
