The stoppers incorporate a specially developed general purpose rubber compound which provides excellent long-term compatibility with most pharmaceutical products.
Of particular importance is the product's low level of extractables, as J & J Sales Director, Jon Wear, explained:

For total convenience, FM457 stoppers are available in all standard sizes and they are available ready for sterilisation or gamma irradiated. In addition, FM457 stoppers comply with all pharmacopoeia requirements for WFI (Water for Injection).
