Adhesive Labels

Adhesive Labels and Thermal Transfer Foils

Apart from "paper", the most familiar label material of all, plastic labels are becoming increasingly popular; especially for specific fields, such as the packaging industry. The potential uses for foil labels are very varied. Owing to their specific characteristics, foils have some significant advantages over paper. For example, they are more resistant to environmental impact and are more robust and less prone to tearing than paper. We stock a wide variety of
materials for labels.

  • Neutral adhesive paper and plastic labels on rolls for subsequent marking.
  • Thermal adhesive labels for short-term use.
  • Product labels in up to 7 colours plus varnish
  • Paper board tags and labels for insertion
  • Destructible security labels
  • High quality plastic labels for extreme requirements (chemicals, weather, heat etc.)
  • Job order printing of labels by various printing techniques (thermal transfer printers, multicolour printers)
  • Single sheet labels on DIN A4 sheets for laser printers
  • Adhesive labels with turn-down transparent laminate protection (Top Protect)

Thermal Transfer Foils

Three "qualities" of thermal transfer ribbons are distinguished:
Wax, wax/resin and resin.
It is primarily always the application that determines the materials, adhesives and ink ribbons to be used. Hence individual solutions require individual advice.
The Wax Quality
Is not very resistant to scratches and smearing and is therefore suitable for inferior applications, such as price marking, short-lived labels.
The Wax/Resin Quality
Is suitable for most applications owing to its average scratch and smear resistance; as a rule it provides a good printing quality on most materials.
The Resin Quality
Thanks to its high resistance to scratches and smearing this quality is used for applications on foils for
sophisticated labels with high requirements; however as a rule it is only suitable for plastic labels.
Coloured Ink Ribbons
All of the coloured ink ribbons are available in a variety of shades.
