SubscribeWillum Plast offer a range of child resistant caps for different applications and different brands of bottles.
Our WP child resistant caps - CRC-Caps - have been tested at the DTI (Danish Technological Institute) in accordance with DS ISO 8317 for demands on child resistant packaging on several different bottle brands.
Furthermore a drop test based on the UN requirements has been carried out successfully.

The WP CRC-Cap with bore seal is the standard cap of the CRC-series. The inner part is cast with a bore seal which ensures a reliable and tight seal.
The cap is available in the sizes 22mm, 28mm, 30mm, 38mm and 40mm.
In order to comply with the request of some of our customers our WP CRC-Cap 28mm with bore seal is now also supplied with PCO1810 thread and furthermore with a thread that fits bottles with a 4,24mm pitch and ø28mm.
| WP CRC-Cap with liner is fitted with either a plastic, an aluminium or an induction liner which can be used with most chemical products. The liner prevents the cap from corroding. The cap is available in the sizes 22mm, 28mm and 40mm. |  |
 | WP CRC-Cap with plug is fitted with a plug with an outlet which enables easy dosage of the liquid in the bottle or container. There are two plug choices for the 28mm cap; the standard plug with outlet of ø3,5mm for thick/high viscosity liquids or the plug with dosage valve for normal to low viscosity liquids with an upside-down" function. This "upside-down" function in the dosage valve makes the product almost drip free, when turned upside down. Furthermore the plug comes in different sizes - each indicated by a specific colour to ensure the perfect fit in our customers' different bottles - white/small, neutral/medium and black/large. The 24mm is available with the medium size plug. |
| WP CRC-Cap High is a high child resistant cap fitted with a high plug with an outlet diameter of 3,5mm. The high plug comes in two types: a standard version, which makes it very easy to use with oil and lighter fuel, and an "upside-down" version which is provided with a dosage valve making it especially suitable for gel for lighting a fire. The two types of plugs come in different sizes, each marked by a specific colour. The cap is available in size 28mm. |  |
 | WP Squeeze Cap is a child resistant cap with a double thread that can be used, among others in the chemical industry, especially for cleaning agents. The cap has a plug which in addition to ensuring tight seal enables easier dosage of the liquid in the bottle or container. The child resistance functions as an interaction between the cap and the bottle and function also after re-closing the container. The Squeeze Cap is available in size 25mm. |
| WP CRC-Cap with Tamper Evident is a child resistant cap with a tamper band. This band contributes to improved safety for products used in the chemical, technical and pharmaceutical industry. Furthermore it indicates whether the bottle or container has been opened or tampered with and thereby lost its child resistance. All variants of our 28mm CRC-Caps are available with Tamper Evident in the fine ribbed design. |  |
Polyoxymethylene Caps
All our child resistant caps are now available with inner parts produced of Acetal copolymer - also called Polyoxymethylene/POM. This material is by far the most resistant material used for caps on the market today used for aggressive chemicals. These caps require a lower application torque than conventional child resistant caps made of PPC or HDPE. Our customers have the option of having any size of the inner part of our child resistant caps produced in POM.
We use our wide knowledge and expertise gained from forty years of experience to guide and serve our customers. We have developed recommendations and guidelines regarding areas of use, testing on specific liquids and application methods just to name a few.
