SubscribeNEWS RELEASE In an agreement reached between Index Plastics Limited the market leaders of adhesive hooks and the Labelling Machine Division of Multivac UK Ltd, the Basingstoke based company have been awarded exclusive rights to sell Multivac's comprehensive range of adhesive hook application machines in UK and Ireland.
Under the terms of the agreement, Index personnel have undergone extensive training at Multivac on evaluation, supply and installation, although Multivac will continue to underwrite the installation warranty as well as servicing of the application.
'We have been working closely with Multivac for over five years and have built up a close synergy between our complimentary businesses' said Andrew Cecil, Index Plastic's Managing Director.
'During this period we have jointly developed the system by which Multivac labelling machines have successfully applied our self adhesive euroslots and hooks to a broad spectrum of packaging.'
'This new agreement means that, unlike our competitors, we can now offer complete application solutions to meet most clients requirements whether this consists of a stand alone machine or an all embracing system that compliments cartoning, overwrap, shrink, or vertical form fill lines - as well as allowing for different packaging speeds and product sizes ' he said.
