The new TUBUS TR-L damper is a maintenance free, self-contained damper made from a special co-polyester elastomer.The radial deformation of the TR-L series provides a very long and soft deceleration with progressive energy absorption towards the end of the stroke.
Application areas include handling equipment and conveyor systems on packaging lines and all areas where applications require very low reaction forces.
TUBUS dampers are resistant to oil, grease, seawater and to microbe or chemical attack and they have excellent UV and ozone resistance. They have an operating temperature range from -40șC to 90șC.
They have a life expectancy 20 times longer than for urethane dampers, 10 times longer than rubber buffers and five times longer than steel springs.The 39 models in the TR-L series have a reaction force range from 1450 to 286000 N and a maximum stroke range between 17 to 108mm.
