UV Printing

For nearly 40 years Zeller+Gmelin has developed, manufactured and sold UV curing printing inks. We have been one of the leading companies in this segment for many years.

In the following we present our latest developments.

UV-Offset Printing

• UVALUX® U40
New generation of UV-inks for reel-to-reel offset printing. The ink series has been specially developed for high press speeds. It is characterised by high colour intensity and low odour.
• UVALUX® U41
Low-migration UV-Offset ink for „universal" printing on paper and foil. The ink series is odour reduced and specially developed for high press speeds.
• UVALUX® U71
Low-migration UV-Offset ink with optimised adhesion, specially developed for printing on critical foils. The ink series meets the special Nestlé requirements and has the official Nestlé approval!
• UVALUX® U73
Low tack UV reel-to-reel offset ink for printing on tension-sensitive non absorbant substrates.
• UVALUX® U74
Thermo-formable ink for UV sheet fed and UV reel-to- reel offset on non absorbant substrates.
UV-Flexo Printing
• UVAFLEX® Y71
Low-migration UV-Flexo ink for the printing of flexible packaging and labels.
• UVAFLEX® Y77
Newly developed UV-Flexo ink for universal printing of labels, in-mould-labels, folding cartons and flexible packaging on paper and foil. The ink series shows a very low ink penetration on paper, high reactivity and a very good curling characteristic on foil materials.
Container Decoration
• UVACURID® C71
New generation of low-migration UV inks for the direct decoration of preformed plastic food containers such as cups, buckets or lids. The UVACURID® C71 is a completely new development, with very good migration security at maximum press speed, with excellent printability, superb ink consistency and outstanding resistance.
