Nucleating masterbatches such as PALMAROLE MB.NA.07 are supplied as 10% active component, which allows accurate dosage of a small amount of high performance additive to maintain required stiffness with less material. Using a clarifying agent masterbatch introduces the option to increase transparency, giving the consumer the capability to view the product clearly before purchase.

For food contact packaging such as yoghurt pots, use of ADEKA-PALMAROLE's blowing agent masterbatches such as PALMAROLE BA.K2.S2 have already allowed leading PS processors to decrease weight without loss of material strength.

Used as powder but more conveniently as masterbatch, these endothermic blowing agents are also available to processors for overseas markets.
